A Novel of Choices

A White Trail is all about deviating from the path that you set for yourself as a young adult and being brave enough to risk an emotionally secure life to grow in a new direction. I can relate to this myself. In contemporary marriage, we have an expectation to continue to be happy and satisfied as we grow together as a couple. What happens when we do not- when one grows to the left and the other is comfortable? Do we leave? The same naivete that we place on marrying as young people, we also tend to have as we choose another path. Each one is work and has unforeseen consequences that have to be dealt with, but hopefully, this is how we grow. This novel is well written and one that many women can identify with. I look forward to Ms. Krantz's next novel!

Read this book!

After getting to know the characters in the first couple chapters, it was hard to put the book down. What a great story! I could relate to the theme of parents setting asside aspirations while raising kids. The grown-up victim of abuse was a fascinating character. I will recommend this to all my friends.

Pick the Right Path and Read this Book

This is the best love story I've ever read. You never knew what to expect and it wasn't all flowers and chocolate. I think I even learned some things about me while reading this book. Every path I've chosen in my life has lead to where I am today! I am so happy I won this book on Goodreads.
