A very good addition to the B&B range

I ordered this book along with the core book and found out that it is much more than a monster manual for Beasts & Barbarians. It provides ten creatures/NPC with a complete adventure for each of them. For me this is way more interesting than a simple critters collection. The adventures are well distributed among the dominions and offer diversified opportunities and threats to the PCs. Only negative comment is the quality of the printing: while readable, the background of the pages is darker than in the core book. This does not enhance the reading experience. Without this, I would have given 5 stars to Beasts of the Dominions.

Great addition to the Dominions but could use a tad more.

If you have and enjoy the Beasts and Barbarians book than you will definitely enjoy this expansion. I love the idea of a bestiary that is filled with stories and adventures to go along with the monsters. This is excellent for a GM who needs a break or to plug in a "side mission" between quests. I actually expanded one adventure (The Thannas) into a full blown campaign and my players are really digging it!
However, as mentioned by some others, it does feel a little lacking for the cost. It is a small book and while the quality is excellent I think maybe a few more adventures or perhaps a couple dozen more monsters (plain bestiary style) would have made it a more worth-while purchase.
Still, this is a good buy if you enjoy the Dominions and wish to expand the world a little.

This is a useful addition to your library if you have any interest in running the setting laid out in 'Beasts & Barbarians'. It provides 10 relatively short scenarios that you can drop into your campaign, set indifferent locations across the Dread Sea Dominions, and each with a different feel. The only thing I really believe is missing are perhaps some maps to he help guide the GM a bit better in adventure placement, but then again if your campaign doesn't focus much on what goes on between adventures (i.e. traveling), it probably doesn't matter.

If you are a player in the B&B campaign, there is a section for creating a 'Disciple of the Black Temple', either as a character carrying out the orders of a powerful sorcerer or as one who has turned his back (foolishly) on his dark master.

Overall, I found the book to be a good read, even if I never get a chance to use all the great ideas it includes. It is a nice expansion of the B&B lore if nothing else.

About the Author
Jonathan Glazzard has worked for 10 years as a primary SENCO in schools and now leads the SEN modules at the University of Huddersfield

Jane Stokoe has over thirty years experience as a primary school teacher. She has spent almost 20 years in Early Years and Key Stage 1, and is passionate about her role as a classroom practitioner with young children.

Alison Hughes is a part-time Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Early Primary Education with QTS programme at the University of Huddersfield. She was formally a Headteacher for eleven years. She is passionate about sharing her experiences of excellent practice and research with trainee teachers.

Annette Netherwood is a Lead Teacher in an all age, all inclusive Special School, who also lectures in SEN at Huddersfield University. She has extensive experience of SEN in both Mainstream and Special Schools and was a Research Associate for the National College of School Leadership. She sees the inclusion of Special Educational Needs in the training of teachers as a vital and necessary part of their development which has a positive impact on all areas of teaching and learning.

Lesley Neve has extensive experience of working with pupils with SEN in primary and secondary schools and now works as a Senior Lecturer in Education.

NCEE publishes great lesson plan books, check out the others. I actually used the market supply and demand with my middle school kids. (with some adaptation.) They loved it! Great hands on activities in an idiot proof lesson plan format.

Newest preptest as of January 2016

This is the newest LSAT preptest, as of the time of this review (Jan 2016). The LSAT changes with time. Get the newest test; it's the best indicator of what future tests will look like. Considering how important the LSAT is to your odds of admission, this book is well worth the price. You should also get the following books:

LSAT 76LSAT 75, LSAT 74, LSAT 73, LSAT 72
LSATs 62-71, LSATs 52-61

Total cost is around $70-$80. There's no better investment you could make towards a better LSAT score. For more practice, get preptests 29-38. Note that only preptests 66-76 have two pages for logic games diagrams. Use only the second page for your diagrams. It is surprisingly easy to lose your train of thought when you have to move your eyes across multiple pages. This test also has a comparative reading passage. Every test from 52 onwards has comparative reading.

If you are "training" for the LSAT I highly recommend using the most recent tests that LSAC releases. They are the test in so many ways! I studied with my other practice tests and decided to find a recent test to make sure I was headed in the right direction. I took the October 2015 released test by LSAC as a pre-test before my official LSAT and it was spot on. I scored the exact same on my official LSAT as I did on the practice test. Use this as an indicator to monitor your score! Good Luck!
